How to delete your data
This page explains what Zay Revenue Group stores, and exactly how to have your data deleted. Required by Meta (Facebook) app review and by GDPR / CCPA.
What we store
- Your name, email, and phone number (only if you provided them).
- Business profile data (company name, industry, location).
- Messages, notes, tasks, and files you or your team created in the CRM.
- Metadata about Meta-connected accounts (Page ID, Instagram business account ID, token expiry). We never store your Facebook/Instagram password.
- Posts you scheduled or published through ZRG, plus Meta's reported engagement metrics.
- Standard server logs (IP, user-agent) for 30 days, for security + abuse detection.
Option A — self-service via Meta
If you connected your Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or WhatsApp account to ZRG, you can revoke access anytime in the Meta settings panel. Meta will notify us automatically and we will delete all data associated with your account within 30 days.
- Open facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools
- Find “Zay Revenue Group” and click Remove.
- You can also request the removal code directly at /api/public/meta/deletion-status after removal.
Option B — email request
Send a one-line email to hello@zayrev.com with the subject “Data deletion request” and the email address you used with ZRG.
We confirm within 48 hours. Full deletion within 30 days. We will email you a confirmation code when done.
Option C — phone

What we do NOT delete
- Invoices and payment records we are required by law to keep (US: 7 years).
- Email or SMS logs sent during the time your account was active (required by CAN-SPAM / TCPA).
- Anonymized analytics where your personal identifiers have already been stripped.
Meta-specific data handling
Data we receive from Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or WhatsApp via the Meta platforms is governed by
Meta’s own policies in addition to ours. We use each Meta permission only for its declared purpose
(e.g. we use pages_manage_posts only to publish posts you scheduled, never
to scrape public content). Upon account disconnection, we delete all Meta-sourced data within 30 days.
Meta app ID on file: documented privately with Meta and available to reviewers on request.
